The education is run by Hotstepper founders, Joel De Andrade and Karen Galsgaard, together with Martine Ibsen.

Joel and Karen have roots in the underground scene, and have participated at several of the largest battles in the world such as International Battle of the Year, UK Bboy Championships, Street Star, Floor Wars and they won the first Scandinavian Battle of the Year. They have danced world wide and also have credits like Justin Timberlake, Sugar Hill Gang , Kurtis Blow, Prodigy, Amnesty International, Nike, FHM and Everlast. Besides organising jams and battles, Joel and Karen also have experience with judging in several countries. Karen has been judging in DK and Brazil and Joel in DK, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and China including national R16, Battle Of The Year and UK Bboy Championships.

Martine has been dancing since 2003 and has locking and waacking as her passion. She is trained in several styles both during her time as a student at the Hotstepper Dance Education, but also through workshops and camps with some of the worlds leading dancers. Martine has experience with shows and music videos, has won battles in the underground scene and taught workshops in Denmark, Sweden, Iceland and the Faroe Islands. She has a bachelor degree in business and psychology and a masters degree in HRM which she also draws theory and experience from to include in her classes at the education.

The rest of the faculty includes many world-class local and international dancers and guest teachers. You might for example get taught by Hip Hop pioneers such as Mr Wiggles (Rock Steady Crew) or Loose Joint (Elite Force) and Yugson & Babson (Wanted Possé/Serial Stepperz) or famous choreographers such as Usher's choreographer, Justin Timberlake's choreographer or the last winner of Juste Debout or Red Bull BC One. 

From 2009-2015 the education has had more than 100 leading Danish and international teachers .
